The Bitegyeko Joseph Foundation has distributed medical supplies to several rural health centers in Uganda, supporting the delivery of quality healthcare services to marginalized communities.
The medical supplies included essential items such as:
- Vaccines for preventable diseases such as measles, rubella, and polio
- Antibiotics for treating common infections such as pneumonia and tuberculosis
- Antihelmintics for treating worm infestations
- Medical equipment such as stethoscopes and blood pressure monitors
- Basic medications such as pain relievers and antihistamines
The foundation also provided training to healthcare workers on the proper use and storage of the medical supplies. The training covered topics such as infection control, medication administration, and patient care.
“This donation will go a long way in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care,” said a healthcare worker at one of the receiving health centers. “We are grateful for the support from the Bitegyeko Joseph Foundation.”
